Maintenance & Prevention

Gutter Cleaning & Downspout Flushing

In Minnesota, gutters work through spring rain, summer storms, falling leaves, pine needles, and winter freeze-thaw cycles. A professional cleaning helps prevent water from backing up, overflowing near the foundation, and putting unnecessary wear on your gutters, fascia, siding, and landscaping.

Most homes benefit from a cleaning in late spring or early summer and again after the leaves come down in fall. Homes beneath large maples, oaks, or pines may need more frequent service.

What we do on a typical gutter cleaning visit:

  • Clear loose roof debris: We remove leaves, sticks, pine cones, and buildup near the gutter line where it can wash into the system.
  • Hand-clean the gutters: Heavy debris is removed carefully from each accessible gutter run.
  • Flush the system: We use water to clear remaining sediment and confirm the gutter is draining properly.
  • Check downspout flow: We test accessible downspouts for clogs and flag visible issues that could affect drainage.
  • Clean up the job site: Debris is collected and removed so your yard and work areas are left tidy.

Note: Clean gutters support proper drainage, but ice dams are often tied to heat loss and ventilation issues in the attic. We will always let you know if we spot a concern worth discussing with a roofing professional.

Upgrade Your Drainage System

Seamless Gutter Installation

Sectional gutters have joints throughout the run. Seamless gutters are formed on-site in continuous lengths for your home, creating fewer joints and fewer potential places for leaks to develop over time.

We custom-form 5-inch and 6-inch aluminum seamless gutters to fit your roofline, then pair them with properly sized downspouts for dependable drainage. We can also discuss copper gutter options for homes where that look and material make sense.

Whether you are replacing worn-out gutters, updating drainage around an addition, or building a better system for a problem area, we will help you choose a practical solution that fits the home.

Reduce Ongoing Maintenance

Gutter Guards & Protection

Gutter guards can substantially reduce the leaves, pine needles, seed pods, and debris that make their way into your gutters. They are especially helpful for homes with heavy tree cover, but the right guard depends on your roof pitch, gutter condition, tree types, and how water moves off the roof.

We will help you compare the best fit for your home, not simply sell a one-size-fits-all product. Our options include:

  • LeafBlaster Pro: Premium stainless-steel micro-mesh and all-aluminum guard options, backed by a 40-year manufacturer warranty.
  • Bulldog Gutter Guard: A low-profile aluminum guard designed to keep larger debris out, with 25-year manufacturer warranty coverage.
  • Leaf Sentry: A hooded aluminum protection system designed to shed leaves while directing water into the gutter, backed by a lifetime manufacturer guarantee.

No gutter guard is completely maintenance-free. We will explain the strengths and limitations of each option, plus the manufacturer warranty details, before you decide.

Roof-Safe Exterior Removal

Satellite TV Dish Removal

Have an old satellite dish you no longer use? Because we are already equipped to work carefully at roof level, Gorilla Gutter Cleaning can remove many standard residential satellite dishes and exterior wiring.

We remove the dish, arm, accessible exterior wiring, and associated hardware. In most cases, we leave roof-mounted brackets in place because removing them can create an unnecessary leak point in the roof.

If an HOA or another requirement calls for complete bracket removal, we can discuss roof-patch options and pricing before any work begins. Roof patching is not covered by our workmanship guarantee.
